For those looking to improve and safeguard the environment, passionate about scientific fields, drawn to practical applications, and eager to positively impact natural resource conservation, Ball State's environmental geoscience bachelor's program offers an excellent path. This curriculum trains you to implement natural sciences in practical scenarios and prepares you for diverse careers in rigorous scientific disciplines. You'll gain expertise in geological and environmental computer modeling, material composition studies, and interpreting various data types to evaluate findings. Numerous alumni enter environmental consulting across Indiana and nationwide, guiding others in understanding Earth's systems, raising public awareness about nature, and conducting research to unravel planetary mysteries (including those beyond our world).
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
Spring Term - application materials due by November 15th
