In this program, you'll join peers in examining literary works and their backgrounds under the guidance of faculty who are both skilled educators and creative thinkers. By analyzing texts thoroughly while considering their social and historical contexts, you'll sharpen your critical thinking skills and develop the ability to solve intricate challenges in any future career path. The poetry, fiction, essays, films, and plays we analyze provide profound insights into human experiences as we discuss them in class. You'll learn to study literature with professional analytical techniques, express ideas effectively, approach problems methodically, solve multifaceted issues across various fields, and exchange perspectives with classmates.
You should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
you have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
you have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
you wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
