The Master of Science in Materials Engineering without a thesis option equips students with in-depth understanding of mechanical characteristics, material structures, thermodynamics, kinetics, and electrical/optical/magnetic material properties. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in materials engineering or a comparable field from an accredited institution (official transcripts needed).
Students with backgrounds in other STEM fields may apply but might need to complete foundational materials engineering coursework before full graduate program admission.
Standardized test requirements include GRE scores (or TOEFL for international applicants). Online learners are exempt from GRE requirements, though international online applicants must still provide TOEFL results.
Application materials must include recommendation letters.
