The Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering program, available both on-campus and online, equips students for careers in extracting meaningful insights from vast datasets. Our rigorous curriculum strikes an ideal balance between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, providing students with core competencies and cutting-edge tools for advanced big data applications.

On-campus participants can finish this graduate program within 1-2 years, while online learners have up to six years to complete their studies. The program combines advanced coursework in essential areas such as data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis. Students can choose from numerous electives and must complete a capstone project, applying their expertise to real-world challenges.

The program offers two specialized tracks: the data engineering concentration, overseen by the Computer Science and Software Engineering Department, and the data science concentration, administered by the Mathematics and Statistics Department. Both tracks are now accessible to online participants.
