Design professionals operate across diverse media platforms such as print publications, digital outlets, social networks, business communications, and television. These creative specialists develop engaging compositions by skillfully employing color schemes, font choices, visual flow, image curation, and spatial arrangement. The journalism program provides visual journalism students with fundamental reporting skills, multi-platform storytelling techniques, photographic training, digital media production, and practical experience with cutting-edge design software.
