The MSW's advanced standing direct practice concentration offers three specialized tracks designed to equip students for professional work with diverse groups across various environments. Each specialization follows a curriculum rooted in core social work principles, focusing on evidence-based approaches, recognizing client strengths, promoting social justice, and fostering empowerment. The MSW program's central objective is to train skilled practitioners who embody professional knowledge, ethical standards, and specialized practice competencies.
The curriculum teaches students to evaluate mental health concerns, develop tailored treatment strategies, and implement effective interventions in both clinical and community contexts.
This program holds accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education.
