The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Development and Management equips students with the theoretical knowledge required to navigate the intricacies of this global industry. By specializing in sustainable tourism, students deepen their grasp of resilience and sustainability principles, learning how to apply them to tourist destinations and development projects.

The curriculum covers fundamental sustainability theories and terminology, along with practical skills for designing, assessing, and executing sustainable policies across all phases of tourism development—from initial planning to ongoing management.

Students enroll in classes from both the School of Sustainability and the School of Community Resources and Development, building a robust understanding of sustainability principles while directly applying them to tourism contexts.

Through rigorous coursework in tourism and sustainability, professional networking opportunities, international study programs, and final internship placements, graduates emerge ready for managerial and executive roles.
