The Bachelor of Science in computational forensics is an interdisciplinary degree that integrates physical, biological, and social sciences while emphasizing statistical and computational approaches.
Learners explore forensic challenges by applying statistical, computational, and mathematical techniques, aiming to enhance their forensic science expertise. They examine and create quantitative and computational approaches that support both theoretical and practical forensic research, validate investigative methodologies, and aid forensic examiners in casework. By utilizing modeling, computer simulations, and digital analysis, students develop comprehensive knowledge of forensic science principles, scientific methodologies, and structured forensic investigation techniques.
This program qualifies for the Western Undergraduate Exchange initiative at the West campus location. Eligible students from Western states choosing this major and campus may receive reduced nonresident tuition at 150% of Arizona resident rates plus fees.
