The BS in Applied Computing equips students with core computer science principles before delving into sought-after fields like database systems, networking, and cybersecurity. This curriculum also fosters interdisciplinary exploration, allowing students to pair computing with practical applications in other fields through dual degrees and minors.
Through practical coursework, internships, industry collaborations, and meaningful faculty-led research, students gain ample opportunities to implement their skills before entering the workforce.
