The Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis with a Latin American Studies focus offers an expansive, dynamic structure for examining the varied cultures across Latin America and its diaspora communities, while facilitating meaningful intercultural learning experiences. This curriculum delivers an interdisciplinary exploration of Latin American and U.S. Latino/Latina arts, cinema, historical narratives, political systems, and cultural traditions.

This undergraduate program qualifies for the Western Undergraduate Exchange initiative at West campus. Eligible students from participating western regions choosing this major and campus location may receive discounted nonresident tuition, calculated at 150% of Arizona's resident rate plus mandatory fees.

First-year students must-
Have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a B or better where A=4.00) from a secondary school. Some ASU programs may have higher admission or English proficiency requirements and may consider a minimum ACT or SAT score.
Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 911 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10-12 grade coursework.)
Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
IELTS - minimum score 6.0
TOEFL iBT - minimum score is 61.
