The School of International Service presents the Master of International Service (MIS), tailored for professionals with extensive experience in global affairs or for graduates who have finished (or will soon complete within three years) a master's program in international relations or a similar discipline from an accredited partner institution. This intensive one-year curriculum is enhanced by chances to engage in public discussions and continuous research initiatives.

The International Studies Track within the Master of International Service caters to students presently pursuing or having recently obtained (within three years) a master's degree in international affairs or a comparable field from an affiliated university.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold an earned bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by one of the six United States regional accreditation agencies or a degree equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree from an international institution with a similar level of accreditation or recognition by its home country.

The minimum TOEFL score for full admissions consideration is 100 on the Internet-based test (iBT) or 600 on the paper-based test (PBT). The minimum IELTS score is 7.0.
