Earning an M.B.A. requires completing 33 to 51 credits (based on previous coursework) in business core classes and electives, with full-time or part-time enrollment options. The Willumstad School of Business's Graduate Programs Office reviews each applicant's academic history to potentially waive prerequisite and foundation courses, shortening the program length. To qualify for waivers, equivalent classes must have been taken within the last 5-7 years with a B grade or better. This adaptable approach supports students from diverse educational backgrounds, including those pursuing a business graduate degree after obtaining another advanced degree. New students should consult the MBA Program Director in Hagedorn Hall, Room 121 early in their first semester to assess potential course waivers.
