Our studies concentrate on examining proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. We investigate how these biological compounds can reveal insights about an organism's lifespan, demise, evolutionary background, and surroundings, along with the breakdown of organic archaeological specimens in burial conditions. We create and implement analytical methods and equipment configurations, primarily focusing on separation techniques and mass spectrometry, applying them to archaeological, biomolecular, and environmental investigations.
