This program provides a chance to investigate LGBTQIA identities, communities, and cultures through multiple academic lenses.
You'll engage with primary sources spanning the Arts and Humanities—such as literature, memoirs, films, documentaries, visual art, manifestos, zines, audio recordings, and music—alongside contemporary theoretical perspectives. The curriculum features instruction from globally renowned queer studies scholars while fostering your independent research development.
A robust calendar of academic events including seminars, conferences, and discussion groups will enhance your learning experience, allowing you to actively contribute to the faculty's dynamic research community. Graduate studies are centered around the Humanities Research Centre, an interdisciplinary space designed to cultivate both intellectual collaboration and meaningful connections.
