If you're captivated by Windrush 75, deeply moved by the Black Lives Matter movement, or intrigued by social justice systems, this Global Black Studies Masters program is perfect for you. Unlike many Black history courses that concentrate on African American studies, our dynamic Masters program examines Black history, culture, and identity from a truly worldwide perspective. You'll engage with thoughtfully designed modules and case studies that examine social communities and historical topics including - the enduring impact of African Chattel Enslavement, the African and Caribbean diaspora, the emergence of indentured labor, the Windrush generations, and Black social activism.
