Computers have become ubiquitous in modern society, with nearly every facet of daily life relying on advanced computing systems.
Due to ongoing technological progress, rising user demands, and growing regulatory needs, there's significant demand for qualified electronic computing engineers.
While traditional computer science degrees typically focus on software, theory, and mathematics, this program offers broader engineering competencies, encompassing hardware and computing applications in electronic systems. The curriculum leverages knowledge from York's Intelligent Systems and Nano-science Research Group.
