Exploring Disability Inclusion in Sports and Physical Activity provides a chance to identify and address the obstacles that prevent disabled individuals from fully engaging in athletic pursuits. This pioneering UK program enhances our established leadership in advancing disability rights and accessibility.

During the program, we examine how practitioners can initiate transformation and question conventional perspectives on disability sports through tailored education that aligns with professional aspirations. Interactive sessions covering topics like ableism, effective implementation strategies, advocacy, disability frameworks, expanding athletic access, and theoretical concepts will stimulate meaningful dialogue.

Students can complete a specialized internship to boost career prospects and skills development, alongside conducting an in-depth research project on a chosen aspect of disability sports that aligns with their interests.
