Qualified candidates should submit the online 'Expression of Interest' form. Successful preliminary applications will receive a conditional offer with an assigned supervisor to assist in refining the research proposal.
A formal interview occurs upon submission of the finalized research proposal. Note that an interview invitation doesn't guarantee admission to the research degree program.

a first or upper second class honours degree or
a masters degree or
evidence of prior practice or learning that is accepted by the Dean of Research
For an applicant wishing to pursue a Research Degree in the area of Computer Science whose entry award was not delivered in English or nonnative speaker of English shall be required to demonstrate proficiency in English at least to the level of an IELTS score of 6.5 Writing 6.5 and no less than 6.0 in any other component or its equivalent
TOEFL IBT - Overall Score of 79
