The MA in Multimedia Journalism (PrintOnline) is an intensive, hands-on program designed to develop versatile journalists. This comprehensive course provides expertise across various digital media disciplines, teaching essential skills including news collection, crafting content for diverse online platforms, and managing social media – all grounded in solid knowledge of media law, ethics, and regulations. Recognized by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC), the curriculum focuses on cutting-edge digital competencies that are highly sought after in today's dynamic content landscape. Aspiring journalists can specialize in areas from hard news reporting to cultural criticism, while learning to identify fresh perspectives and source original content. Students participate in simulated newsroom scenarios and real-world projects evaluated by media experts, culminating in an in-depth journalistic piece. The program offers an ideal setting, combining our state-of-the-art Harrow media facilities with opportunities to report from central London locations. A minimum of an upper second class honours degree (2:1). Applicants who don’t meet the minimum criteria, but have relevant work experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants are required to include a link to one sample of their own published work in their personal statement. 
If your first language is not English you should have an IELTS 7.0 overall with minimum 6.5 in each element. TOEFL 92 overall with a minimum of 20 in Listening, 24 in Writing, 19 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
