This program provides the chance to engage in thorough practice-led, empirical, or analytical research focused on professional writing processes and outcomes. You'll create either a practice-based portfolio or an independently researched work examining professional writing's creative approaches, critical perspectives, and industry contexts. Under the guidance of specialist faculty, you'll design, maintain, refine, and complete a self-directed professional writing project over an extended duration. Ideal candidates will possess an outstanding undergraduate degree in a relevant field or comparable professional experience, along with proven capability to independently develop and finish a substantial project.
