The Master of Arts in Global Development provides interdisciplinary, hands-on training to equip you as a principled development professional and critical thinker upon completing the program.

This curriculum focuses on three interconnected domains: development studies, social equity, and environmental sustainability. Instruction draws from four complementary academic fields: political economy, political sociology, international relations, and human geography.

Through required and elective courses, you'll master foundational development concepts, examine pressing global development concerns, and evaluate the ethical, political, and practical dimensions of potential solutions. The program delivers rigorous training in research methodologies and analytical techniques, alongside practical skill development in collaborative problem-solving and policy evaluation.
