Our Foundation year programs provide a pathway to prepare students for undergraduate studies at the University of Westminster before advancing to complete degree programs.
This option is ideal if you're not quite ready for university-level work, lack traditional qualifications, wish to switch academic focus, or are returning to education after a break. We welcome diverse students to join our Foundation year as a stepping stone toward their full bachelor's degree.
The Art and Design Foundation year introduces students to various creative disciplines while preparing them for specialized study. This program encourages exploration of fresh concepts and contemporary discussions in the field. The first term focuses on building core artistic skills and experimenting across different mediums within our Art and Design curriculum. During the second term, students can concentrate on their preferred specialization with guidance from program tutors. Participants will have access to our advanced facilities and learn from distinguished educators who foster innovative thinking. Throughout both terms, students develop crucial academic abilities alongside practical skills - essential foundations for their future degree studies.
