Neuroscience focuses on unraveling the mysteries of the body's most intricate organ - the brain. Among the four degree programs offered by the School of Life Sciences, this represents our most focused specialization. Ideal for those fascinated by brain function, nervous system operations, and neurological disorders along with their therapies.
This scientific field comprehensively examines both healthy and diseased states of the brain and nervous system. The program caters to learners seeking deeper insights into our most sophisticated and puzzling biological structure.
Through this program's theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, graduates can build careers in neuroscience and healthcare. Potential paths include academic investigation, lab work, pharmaceutical research, or clinical studies. Other options include fields that value strong scientific literacy and methodological expertise.
Our four-year MBio program includes an extended final-year research project conducted within our facilities.
