In our BASc Theatre and Performance Studies combined with Global Sustainable Development (GSD) program, you'll channel your enthusiasm for theatre into addressing urgent contemporary issues through this interdisciplinary approach.
Theatre serves as a powerful medium to interrogate and transform perspectives. It encourages critical reflection on personal lifestyles and societal impacts, while highlighting our global footprint and potential for positive change. Throughout this program, you'll investigate theatre's transformative artistic potential and its connection to modern worldwide concerns.
Warwick's dynamic student drama community offers numerous engagement opportunities through theatre societies, including productions at Warwick Arts Centre (a key collaborator with our Theatre Department), the National Student Drama Festival, and Edinburgh Festival.
The GSD component adopts a transdisciplinary methodology, examining problems through multiple lenses. You'll develop creative thinking skills while embracing diverse viewpoints from international peers, becoming an engaged partner in your educational journey.
Additional opportunities include optional internships, international study programs, and specialized certifications to further enrich your experience.
