Pursuing Italian and Theatre Studies at Warwick enables you to gain comprehensive understanding of Italian language and culture while simultaneously investigating theatrical and performance disciplines through both practical and academic approaches. Beginners can start Italian from scratch.
This program provides thorough training in Italian language and cultural studies alongside an examination of theatrical arts through hands-on experience and scholarly research.
Students have access to the complete spectrum of specialized knowledge across both departments, encompassing cultural and historical studies in Modern Languages, as well as unique focuses in Theatre and Performance Studies such as African theatre traditions, modern European performance, community-based theatre, and dramatic writing.
Typically, students spend either their second or third year overseas, strengthening and expanding their educational experience.
