Your third year will involve international study at one of our affiliated institutions.

Program summary
This four-year curriculum empowers you to investigate the linguistic, literary, and philosophical traditions of classical antiquity while analyzing the extensive cultural, communal, and governmental environments of the ancient Mediterranean.

You'll examine diverse textual and material evidence through innovative teaching methods delivered by faculty conducting pioneering research.

The program combines Latin instruction with a contemporary European language (currently offering Italian or German), featuring a year abroad in your third term at European partner universities.

Current exchange opportunities exist in Italy (Bologna, Padua, Rome, Venice) and Germany (Berlin, Tübingen). Final placement confirmation occurs during your second academic year.
