Pursue either a PhD or MPhil degree, with each program varying in length and research scope.

A PhD requires groundbreaking original research that advances knowledge in your discipline.
An MPhil involves autonomous research with a narrower focus than a PhD, culminating in a Master of Philosophy qualification. You may have the option to transition from an MPhil to a PhD during your studies.
