In Biochemistry studies, you'll explore the cellular structures, genetic makeup, and biochemical reactions within living systems.
You'll be taught by globally renowned biochemists specializing in diverse areas - from DNA repair mechanisms to the molecular foundations of Alzheimer's. Additionally, you'll have access to their extensive connections with the Sussex Drug Discovery Centre and Genome Damage and Stability Centre.
You'll conduct experiments in state-of-the-art labs and undertake an independent research project. During your Masters year, you'll collaborate with our research teams, acquiring hands-on experience in cutting-edge scientific investigation.
Upon graduation, you'll possess both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge for careers in scientific research or various non-scientific fields.
