Students pursuing a BSc in Biochemistry may qualify for direct entry into the second year, allowing them to complete their degree in three years rather than four.

This accelerated pathway is available to applicants with outstanding Advanced Higher, A-Level, or International Baccalaureate results.

Those admitted directly to second year will immediately begin taking required Biochemistry BSc courses at that level, skipping first-year coursework entirely. Additionally, they'll enroll in Introductory Chemistry specifically designed for second-year direct entrants.
