The Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence program at Sussex delves into the scientific foundations of intelligence in both biological and artificial systems. You'll examine:
core computer science concepts
theories of adaptive behavior and intelligent systems
practical implementations like robotics and text analysis.
Your learning takes place in our cutting-edge Future Technologies Labs, featuring dedicated student spaces, advanced computer-equipped teaching labs, and collaborative project areas.

Extended Project Qualification
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
