Electrical and electronic engineering forms the foundation of modern life, powering innovations from sustainable energy solutions and self-driving vehicles to cutting-edge medical technologies. Our curriculum is shaped by pioneering work in sensor technology, adaptable electronics, medical robotics, imaging systems, next-generation 5G networks, and space technology.

Your learning will take place in our state-of-the-art Future Technologies Labs, featuring specialized facilities for robotics development, embedded system programming, digital signal processing, and advanced computer modeling. You'll have access to our electronics and control engineering labs, electrical drive systems, and opportunities to join competitive teams like Formula Student or Medical Robotics.

As you advance, you'll specialize in either electrical or electronic engineering, receiving expert instruction in diverse applications - from creating advanced sensors to developing hardware accelerators, and from semiconductor technology to electric propulsion systems for eco-friendly transportation. You should have a broad range of GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.

Extended Project Qualification
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.

International Baccalaureate
