Utilize our cutting-edge psychology resources, featuring a six-room virtual reality setup and two observation labs, equipped with modern technology for experimental research. Be taught by faculty engaged in active studies on eating habits, exhaustion, anxiety, weight management, and other key areas. Your studies will cover the mental mechanisms behind health maintenance, reactions to illness and stress, and enhancing quality of life for those with physical ailments.

You'll master both theoretical concepts and real-world applications in health psychology while developing expertise in diverse research methodologies. The curriculum examines practical subjects like managing long-term illnesses, psychological factors in healthcare, lifespan health maintenance strategies, and cognitive behavioral therapy applications in health psychology. Additionally, you'll receive comprehensive training in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, building essential skills for gathering, evaluating, and interpreting various data types.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in psychology, or a recognised international equivalent.

Alternatively, a postgraduate conversion diploma in psychology following completion of another degree subject.

If you have at least one year of relevant experience in a full-time graduate-level role (or a minimum of two years experience in a relevant graduate-level part-time role) please provide full details of your role and responsibilities in your personal statement and CV when you submit your application.
