The first year covers essential mental health nursing fundamentals such as care principles, physical health sciences, and public health initiatives, establishing a strong base for your academic journey. Your second year focuses on cultivating self-awareness and therapeutic techniques to provide research-backed care for specific mental health conditions. You'll also discover methods to support individuals through recovery using mental health policies and collaborative approaches. Train in our Clinical Simulation Center, featuring realistic ward and community settings developed with input from those with personal experience. Complete half your program in clinical placements, applying your skills in environments like acute care units, community services, and specialized mental health facilities under expert guidance.
