This course examines impactful microorganisms like bacteria and viruses that affect human health, the environment, and industries. Discover microbiology's applications in vaccine development, food safety, and disease treatment. Your first year introduces microbial fundamentals including bacteriology, biochemistry, cell biology, and essential laboratory skills. Second year offers specialized study in virology, food microbiology, human immunology, and pathology, covering topics from immune responses to microbial characteristics.
Third year delves into biomedical microbial products, human microbial diseases, and infectious disease epidemiology.
