Our music program provides instruction across diverse genres, from classical and pop to Broadway, jazz, and modern compositions. Students will create music both individually and collaboratively, participating in ensembles like orchestras, choirs, and bands while exploring improvisational techniques. Performers receive complimentary instrumental/voice lessons, round-the-clock access to practice rooms, and frequent concert opportunities. Composers utilize top-tier recording studios, cutting-edge Mac labs, and numerous platforms to present their creations. All students engage with music industry experts - from artists and songwriters to agents, producers, and academics. Whether your passion lies in performing, writing, musicology, or the business side, our dedicated faculty and dynamic environment will nurture your artistic growth. Our acclaimed Professional Training program equips students for music careers.

This degree allows you to pursue both performance and composition annually while examining music's historical and cultural contexts. You'll master advanced musical theory and analytical skills, earning a BMus degree focused on practical application - using performance and composition as primary tools for musical development. The curriculum explores both classical and contemporary works across eras. Your final year features a major capstone project demonstrating our flexible pedagogy - choose between an extensive research paper or a creative performance/composition accompanied by scholarly writing.
