You'll benefit from our exceptional facilities, featuring: Cutting-edge microengineering labs, clinical-standard human movement analysis spaces, and specialized bioelectronics research areas. Our Design Center provides access to the newest design software and CNC machining tools. Additionally, you can participate in our renowned Professional Training placements, offering valuable work experience with industry leaders like GE Healthcare, DePuy Synthes, 3M, Abbott, Renishaw, and the NHS. Both our BEng and MEng degrees hold accreditation from the IET and IMechE.
With an emphasis on clinical applications, our biomedical engineering curriculum covers diverse subjects including biomechanics, medical sensors, prosthetic development, biomedical data analysis, and implant design. Students can enroll in either the BEng or MEng track, with the MEng program extending the BEng foundation through an additional master's year. Depending on academic performance, students may have the flexibility to transfer between degree pathways during their studies.
