This program caters to pharmacists qualified outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or those holding an EEA pharmacist qualification not recognized as relevant (excluding UK-approved qualifications) who aim to practice as registered pharmacists in the UK. It stands among the select few courses approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Earning the OSPAP postgraduate diploma enables progression toward UK pharmacist registration, with the added option to pursue a master's research project. The curriculum aligns with GPhC accreditation standards.
Students may enroll in either the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) or Masters (MSc) track. The MSc pathway includes an original research project showcasing both theoretical understanding and practical application.
Applications are accepted before receiving GPhC adjudication, though this must be secured prior to interviews. Eligible candidates will receive interview offers contingent upon submitting their GPhC adjudication and notifying the institution accordingly.
