This program is designed for international (non-EEA) pharmacists seeking to adapt their qualifications for practice in Great Britain. The University of Hertfordshire's OSPAP holds accreditation from the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). The Overseas Pharmacy Assessment Programme (OSPAP) is an intensive postgraduate diploma running from September to June. Instruction occurs over three weekly days across two academic terms.

Upon finishing the OSPAP Postgraduate Diploma and successfully completing the required GPhC foundation training year and registration assessment, graduates become eligible to register as UK-qualified pharmacists. This qualification opens doors to practice in multiple settings - including community pharmacies, hospitals, industrial facilities, or academic institutions - offering a wide range of professional opportunities.

The OSPAP provides understanding of the UK's National Health Service framework, educates on healthcare regulations and professional standards for pharmacists, and enables the application of scientific knowledge (such as pharmaceutics and microbiology) in clinical, patient-centered environments.
