The audio industry continues to see significant growth in radio and podcast production, making this program an excellent way to develop standout skills in this competitive field. Integrated with our acclaimed Spark Sunderland radio station, the course provides hands-on training in radio production, broadcasting, and station operations while enabling students to produce both personal creative podcasts and professional client projects.

Production coursework spans diverse formats such as live studio work, feature creation, podcast development, and multiplatform content production. Students will gain expertise in audience-focused pitching, financial planning, investigative research, sophisticated interview techniques, and innovative editing methods. This career-focused training is complemented by theoretical studies. The program culminates in either an extensive practical production or academic dissertation, both requiring research, contextual analysis, and critical evaluation.

a 3 year (4 year for Engineering) graduation degree from an AICTE / UGC recognised University, 57% - 60% from a recognised university.

If English is not your first language, you will need a British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall score of 6.5, with at least 5.5 in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking (or equivalent).
