This community and youth work program enables you to enhance your practical skills while gaining theoretical knowledge, preparing you to become a certified (JNC) youth professional. The apprenticeship pathway provides a valuable hands-on approach to professional training. As an apprentice, you'll gain tailored practical experience to address your personal learning objectives while mastering the competencies outlined in the apprenticeship criteria, including the Level 6 National Occupational Standards for Youth Work and the leadership skills necessary for implementing inclusive youth work practices. Mirroring the dynamic nature of community and youth work, our innovative course design moves beyond conventional teaching methods – we prioritize immersive professional growth through our engaging curriculum and unique learning opportunities.
Applicants must hold Maths and English GCSE at a minimum of Grade C or numerical grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent). Students  need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
