For those passionate about working with families, children, and communities, the BA (Hons) Childhood Studies program equips students with comprehensive skills and knowledge across various disciplines related to childhood. The curriculum covers child development, children's requirements, and the historical, social, and cultural factors influencing their lives. Students will gain insights into children as individuals and their roles within society and family structures.
During the first semester, students can opt for the specialized Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner Competencies pathway. This option prepares graduates for professional practice and demonstrates to employers the completion of hands-on experience. Selecting this pathway results in earning the degree title BA (Hons) Childhood Studies with Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner Competencies.
