Curriculum overview
This program develops both theoretical understanding and practical teaching abilities through three integrated modules:

The program alternates campus sessions with teaching placements, with learning building progressively throughout. Campus time focuses on curriculum familiarization, peer collaboration, lesson planning, and resource development. Students practice micro-teaching and explore creative approaches to student engagement.
Practical experience
Eighteen weeks are spent in Scottish schools, with ongoing evaluation against Provisional Registration Standards. Full participation is required, including staff development days unless otherwise instructed.
