As an MSc Marketing postgraduate, you'll join one of the UK's pioneering marketing departments. This program is ideal for graduates from non-business backgrounds seeking to enter the marketing profession. Students gain comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles and their application across individual, organizational, and societal contexts, reflecting the evolving, technology-driven landscape of modern marketing across private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Our Masters in Marketing curriculum establishes foundational knowledge in Strategy, Consumer Behavior, Research, and Sustainability, serving as a springboard for specialized study aligned with career aspirations. Distinctive program elements include: a faculty renowned for research excellence across diverse marketing fields; hands-on learning through case studies and industry partnerships; capstone projects offering choice between academic research or practical consultancy work; and skills-focused instruction to boost career readiness. The first semester focuses on core modules: Strategic Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research in a Digital World, and Essential Skills. Second semester studies become more specialized, covering: Brand Strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Tourism Marketing, and Omnichannel Marketing Communications. During the Autumn term, students complete a capstone project, selecting either a traditional research dissertation or an applied Marketing-Works Live Project.
