The Faculty of Health Sciences offers research programs at both MPhil and PhD levels, including an MPhil with potential transfer to PhD. These programs present a distinctive academic challenge, allowing students to conduct thorough investigations within their chosen field. The MPhil program focuses on cultivating research capabilities and expanding current knowledge, while the PhD demands comprehensive study and original contributions to existing scholarship. Under expert guidance, students will develop their research projects, culminating in a thesis (with specified word limits) to be defended in an oral examination. Word limits: MPhil (maximum 40,000 words), PhD (maximum 80,000 words). Additionally, students will enroll in the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods, a specialized course designed to enhance understanding and practical skills in academic research methodologies.
