The PhD program begins with two parallel activities. First, you'll complete a condensed Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods course to enhance your understanding and capabilities in academic research. Second, you'll develop and finalize a comprehensive research proposal. Following this foundation, you'll collaborate with your supervisors according to an established timeline, progressing toward your thesis submission. Active involvement in departmental activities (attending events, presenting papers, etc.) will be required throughout. We'll support your professional growth by helping you acquire valuable skills and experiences. While we aim to offer teaching opportunities and chances for conference participation and publishing, these cannot be guaranteed.
