This program is crafted to develop tomorrow's professionals, equipped to tackle the evolving demands in health and social care. Addressing population needs in these sectors stands among society's most pressing challenges, touching nearly every aspect of community life—from individuals seeking support to policy-making about healthcare systems. You'll learn from approachable, experienced instructors with real-world backgrounds in health or social care, helping connect academic concepts to contemporary policies and practices. We also provide a Health and Social Care BSc (Hons) with a foundation year at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. The initial year is completed at your selected college, after which you can advance to the three-year BSc (Hons) program at the University. This pathway helps build essential skills applicable to healthcare, social services, and public health.
Upon graduation, you'll receive: BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care. Students complete at least 70 hours of work experience, preferably in health or social care settings—either secured independently or with our assistance.
