Our Aeronautical Engineering program focuses heavily on cockpit design, especially how pilots interact with contemporary fly-by-wire computer systems. The curriculum explores propulsion technologies, encompassing gas turbines, rocket engines, and traditional combustion engines.
Gain practical skills in our cutting-edge facilities, featuring advanced flight simulators capable of replicating Boeing, Airbus, and helicopter operations, plus a modern digital wind tunnel. You'll master industry-standard computer-aided design (CAD) methods, including Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Much of this learning occurs through collaborative projects, allowing you to tackle authentic aircraft design challenges.
Career Paths
Alumni from this program have pursued pilot careers with major airlines including British Airways, Etihad, and Virgin, as well as military aviation with the RAF. Others have entered engineering positions at leading firms such as Rolls-Royce, General Electric, and Airbus Helicopters.
