The Master of Science in Environmental Science provides students from various scientific disciplines with both hands-on and conceptual expertise to address today's most pressing ecological issues. This program offers instruction in analytical methods, data interpretation, modeling approaches, remediation strategies, and tracing biogeochemical cycles across ecosystems - from the air we breathe to terrestrial and aquatic environments.
Students undertake a culminating fieldwork experience at internationally significant ecological crisis locations like Spain's Rio Tinto, followed by a final research project involving an autonomous environmental evaluation. Ideal candidates are driven graduates with degrees in biology, chemistry, physics, or earth sciences (including geology, environmental studies, or geography) pursuing careers in environmental professions or doctoral research pathways.
