The MLitt in Sacred Music provides exceptional interdisciplinary training in Sacred Music for musicians, academics, and arts ministry leaders. This program is collaboratively delivered by the School of Divinity's Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts and St Andrews University's Music Centre. This one-year full-time or two-year part-time degree is jointly administered by these institutions. Designed for individuals pursuing church music performance, leadership positions, clergy roles, or those desiring focused sacred music study (including potential doctoral candidates), the program enhances participants' comprehension of sacred music's theological and artistic foundations while refining practical performance and leadership abilities where relevant.
