This program offers an in-depth exploration of Modern Languages (German and Spanish) alongside Management studies, delivered at an advanced, research-focused level. Participants will develop insights into how knowledge evolves, progresses, and gets refreshed. The curriculum fosters independent learning among all students, promoting qualities like curiosity, integrity, precision, and academic rigor. Spanning 60 months, this course leads to a Master of Arts (Honours) degree. Like all St Andrews programs, it consists of credit-based modules, requiring students to complete 540 credits total, typically earning 120 credits annually. The initial two years combine mandatory program-specific courses with elective options (sometimes including interdisciplinary Faculty offerings). Subsequent years provide specialized, research-driven instruction through tailored modules. The first two years blend core program requirements with diverse elective choices (potentially incorporating cross-Faculty courses), while later years focus on advanced, program-specific research-oriented studies.
